Today, I was watching the mempool so intently I got a bit anxious... When there's congestion, your transaction is basically being jostled around in the queue: at first, you're at the front, then suddenly a bunch of higher-tips jump the line, and you slowly slide back; just when you think it's about to be confirmed on the chain, the nodes start cherry-picking, and if it drags on, it might even expire, making the "Pending Confirmation" display in your wallet feel like being ignored. To put it simply, no acceleration = going with the flow; if you're in a real hurry, you can only pay higher fees or just cancel and resend, otherwise you'll watch others get confirmed first while you're stuck there, and it can really mess with your mindset. Recently, hardware wallets are out of stock, phishing links are everywhere, and the more congested it gets, the easier it is to panic and make mistakes... I now prefer to be a bit slower, double-check the address more carefully. — What I fear most isn't missing an opportunity, but those few seconds to stay calm.
