ChainCatcher 消息，Delphi Digital 在 X 平台发文表示，Solana 正筹备重大升级 Alpenglow。该升级是对共识机制的彻底重构，旨在通过取代 Tower BFT 和历史证明（PoH）来实现亚秒级最终性。Alpenglow 引入了两个新的协议组件：Votor 和 Rotor。Votor 取代了 Tower BFT 的增量投票轮次，采用轻量级投票聚合模型。验证者可以在提交最终确认前在链下聚合投票，使区块在 1 到 2 个确认轮次内即可完成最终确认。这一改进将理论最终性延迟降至 100 至 150 毫秒，较最初的 12.8 秒缩短了约 100 倍。Votor 通过两条并行路径实现最终确认：当提议区块在首轮获得 80%以上总质押权重支持时触发快速确认并立即生效；若首轮支持率在 60%至 80%之间，则触发慢速确认，需第二轮投票超过 60%以完成最终确认。Rotor 重构了 Solana 的区块传播层。原有的 Turbine 传播网络依赖具有可变延迟的多跳中继，而 Rotor 引入了质押权重中继路径，优先考虑带宽效率。高质押且带宽可靠的验证者将成为核心中继点。模拟数据显示，在典型带宽条件下，区块传播最快可在 18 毫秒内完成。该升级预计将逐步推进，初步启动时间预计在 2026 年初至年中。
