Been watching XRP lately and noticed something interesting that EGRAG Crypto has been highlighting. Despite all the noise and recent price pressure, there's actually a structural argument worth considering here.
So here's the thing - XRP has been grinding through what looks like an extended consolidation phase. We're talking about the market forming a pretty wide range, and EGRAG Crypto makes the case that this isn't weakness, it's accumulation. The key level everyone's watching is that $2 support zone. As long as the market respects that on weekly closes, the longer-term structure supposedly stays intact.
What's interesting is the fractal pattern EGRAG Crypto has been tracking. Looking back at late 2023 through 2024, XRP spent roughly a year consolidating between $0.40 and $0.60 before eventually breaking out and climbing above $2. Now EGRAG is suggesting we're seeing a similar setup - a consolidation period that could precede another significant move. The timeframe and price ranges are different, but the structural pattern feels familiar to him.
Now, current price is sitting around $1.39, which is notably lower than where it was trading earlier. That said, the technical argument from EGRAG Crypto remains that as long as we hold above key support levels, the weekly structure points to potential upside targets in the $7-$15 range if the pattern continues to play out. Obviously that would require significant gains, but the fractal framework suggests it's plausible if we see broader market strength return.
That said, EGRAG is pretty clear that fractal analysis isn't a crystal ball. Market cycles don't replay exactly, liquidity dynamics shift between cycles, and macro conditions can throw off timing. It's a framework for thinking about potential patterns, not a guarantee. The real test is whether support holds and whether the broader market environment improves.
Worth keeping on your radar if you're thinking longer-term. The short-term weakness is real, but structurally there's an argument for why the setup could matter down the road.
