According to the Aave Governance Forum, Aave Chan Initiative (ACI) founder Marc Zeller announced that, due to the rsETH collateral crisis and potential wETH shortages and bad debt risks in instances such as Aave V3 Core, the decision has been made to immediately end the Frontier staking program. All ETH staked through this program will be unstaked and managed by the Aave DAO to protect wETH depositors. Additionally, ACI announced that it will forgo all outstanding earnings and performance fees related to this service.
