Could it actually be?
We're finally breaking out of the range of doom and despair oh my God.

I truly love this sh*t.
The trading
The charting
The journaling
The losing
The studying
The improvements
Since going full time it hasn’t felt like I’ve “worked” a day.
Everything I do I’m genuinely grateful to God I have the opportunity to do it.

When journaling, have a column where you categorize your trades as such:
good wins
bad wins
good loss
bad loss
Just because you take a win, doesn't mean it's a good one.
Just because you took a loss, doesn't mean you did something wrong.
Focus on removing bad losses and bad wins.

I use to pray for the clarity in which I can view price now.
It really feels like a super power.
Ironic thing is, this occurred once I started removing concepts from my plan and stopped constantly seeking out more knowledge.
There is beauty in simplicty.

Take a look at this to put things into perspective.
Dont let a few losses in a row throw you off your game.
Its all probabilities and losing streaks WILL happen no matter what strategy you trade.
The following data is an eye opener.
This chart shows the probability of seeing at least (X) consecutive losing trades within a 100 trade period

Another subpar day of price action in the books
Just a reminder,
bc i know plenty of you are likely anxious and worried ab trade frequency lately
look at what were doing on the daily chart
we have been in a period of extended consolidation for a while now.
Just really nasty conditions overall.
These conditions will not last forever... as seen historically if you zoom out.
Favorable conditions will return.
Until then you must PRIORITIZE excellent risk management.
Keep your losses small, consider lowering size, and DO NOT go for homeruns in these markets

It’s not about technical analysis.
Anyone can learn that.
Yes, literally anybody.
What everybody can’t seem to do?
Is have some damn self control.
Thats the part that takes years for some traders to fix.
I like to say that nothing will ever teach you more about yourself than trading.
It’s life’s greatest therapist.
It will without a fail reveal the good, the bad, and the ugly about YOU.
Once you learn all that about yourself, that’s when the work begins on fixing your imperfections.
How to do this?
Journal. Journal. Journal.
Journal everything.
Your thoughts, emotions, body triggers be

Eliminate the concept of being right and wrong from your mental framework when trading.
Cut the words win and lose.
If you have a winning edge stop putting so much weight and focus on the outcome of each individual trade you take.
Individual outcome will always be random.
Journal the loss/win.
Dont overanalyze it and tweak out.
Keep following the plan.
Stay the course.
Don't deviate.
Do this and over the long run you win.

All a high probability trade comes down to being is having no opposing arguments on the opposite side.
Looking long, I dont want any bearish arguments
Looking short, I dont want any bullish arguments
The trades you feel anxiety over are often the ones you see something that might f*ck you over.
The ones with opposing resistance.
Wait for zero opposing resistance, thats when you strike.

Gonna wrap the day up here flat.
If you struggled this week to find good setups, you are not alone.
It was a really difficult one so dont stress it fam.
New week next week.
Trading is a game of patience.
Weeks like this are part of the business.
What u dont wanna do now is strategy hop and add random concepts to your model bc u think u need to be able to analyze everything.
If you try to profit from everything, you'll profit from nothing.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but it’ll all work out.
It always does.
Believe me, you’ll be just fine.
Just keep at it and put your faith in God.

This is why we don’t blindly short off a Daily FVG.
Full top down analysis looking for trapped OF saves you from avoidable losses and gives you the correct bias.
Told the discord this AM for shorts I’d wanted to see the 4h BISI fail first... never happened.
Flat today.

This is your friendly reminder that FOMC minutes is NOT the same as FOMC statement.
The news event listed today is not the big volatility driver you might think it is.
Don’t panic.
