Recently, I revisited the topic of wallets and thought about it: when assets are not large, I think there's no need to overcomplicate things, a hardware wallet is enough, at least the private keys aren't floating around on the computer, which feels more secure. When it really reaches a size where "losing it means sleepless nights," multi-signature is more reliable, but honestly, it's a hassle—you need to agree in advance who keeps which key, how to cooperate if something happens, or else you'll be more devastated than if you got hacked at a critical moment. Social recovery is also quite appealing, suitable for lazy people and those with poor memory (like me), find a few trusted people to be "guardians," but the premise is that you truly trust them, and don't have everyone in the same group chat. Recently, I've been watching the inflation + studio + coin price spiral in blockchain games, and it feels like no matter how lively the narrative, it can't withstand liquidity running faster than you... Anyway, right now I’m just casually playing with small art fragments, and for serious assets, I honestly keep them layered and stored, avoiding creating surprises for myself.
