When using fiat-related services such as C2C trading, you need to bind a bank card or other supported payment methods. Once the binding is completed, you will be able to receive and make payments in C2C transactions.
Step 1: Open the Gate mobile App, log in to your account, tap the [Profile icon] in the top-left corner, then tap the arrow next to your profile. On the [User Center] page, select [Security], and scroll down to find [Payment Method].
Step 2: On the [Payment Methods] page, tap [Add].
Step 3: Choose the fiat currency you want to use, then select a payment method from the list of supported options. Gate will provide available payment methods depending on the selected fiat (e.g., bank transfer, e-wallets, or international payment providers).
Step 4: Example – Binding a bank transfer:
Fill in the required information, such as [Bank Name], [Branch], and [Account Number], then tap [Add].
Step 5: Complete the [Security Authentication] by entering the Google Verification Code (or other enabled 2FA methods).
Step 6: Once binding is successful, your added method will appear under [Payment Methods]. You can add multiple methods if needed.
Step 7: You can also manage your bound methods. For example, select a bank card to view details, then tap [Change] to update information or [Delete] to remove it.
Notes:
- The bound bank card must be under your real-name verified account.
- The process for binding other payment methods follows the same steps. Please follow the on-screen instructions to enter the required information and upload a [Payment QR code] if requested.
