Recently, I came across a very eye-opening perspective: RWA can't just be judged by TVL data.
Thinking about it, the entire industry is now competing over who issues more tokens and who locks assets more aggressively, but a more critical question has been overlooked—how many of these so-called real-world assets are actually moving on-chain?
No matter how attractive the issuance volume is or how deep the staking pools are, if the assets just sit idle in wallets as decorations, what's the difference from stagnant traditional finance? Liquidity is the real indicator to measure the value of RWA.

Damn, this hit the nail on the head. The numbers are all fake; real gold and silver still need to be transferred to actually work.

Exactly right, the TVL data has already been overused. A bunch of projects just know how to pile money into it, but the truly usable assets are scarce.
Liquidity is the real gold and silver; there are too many illusions in this industry.
RWA will ultimately return to its practical value, no matter how much hype there is now, it doesn't matter.

Wow, you're so right. The TVL number is completely inflated, a bunch of zombie assets just lying there pretending to be dead.

Hmm... I'm already tired of the TVL gameplay. The real opportunity lies in the price differences of liquidity. Assets just lying around? That's my arbitrage opportunity.

That's so true. We're tired of the TVL number game; now it's about who can actually move these assets effectively.

This is the current dilemma of RWA. The numbers look good, but there are very few that are actually moving.
