Fed might have more room to cut rates than people think. Why? Job numbers could be way off.

Turns out there's growing chatter about employment data being systematically overcounted. If that's true, the whole "strong labor market" narrative gets shakier. And when job strength gets questioned, rate cut odds go up.

This matters for risk assets. Lower rates? That's typically fuel for crypto and equities. The market's been pricing in a certain Fed trajectory, but if employment data gets revised down hard, the entire playbook shifts.

Keep an eye on this. Job revisions have happened before—sometimes they're massive. Could be a bigger deal than most realize right now.

I'm just worried that the data will have another major slip-up. I've seen it happen in 2008 and again in 2020. Each time, they said "no problem," but what was the result? Only after half of the supply line was cut did they realize. As for this employment data, I remain skeptical. I have to wait until the revised data is actually released before I dare to make a move.

I'm just afraid of the data reversal, and everything will really get messed up then.

yo if those job numbers are actually cooked worse than an overproofed sourdough... we're talking total supply chain collapse on the macro narrative, fr fr. crypto's gonna feast when the fed finally admits the labor market's been running on fumes.

I'm just worried it will be another case of data fabrication, and the Federal Reserve itself can't even figure out the true employment numbers.

I'm just worried that if the data is adjusted, we'll get cut again.

ngl if employment data's been cooked this whole time, the fed's recipe might actually let rates simmer lower than expected... bullish flavor for my portfolio rn

Just say data falsification. Someone has suspected it for a long time; is it finally going to be exposed this time?
