Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD receives a major expansion—officially announced to be based on the Wormhole NTT standard, extending to multiple mainstream Layer 2 networks including Optimism, Base, Ink, and Unichain.

What does this mean? RLUSD becomes the first US trust-regulated stablecoin to be natively deployed on these networks. In other words, users no longer need to go through the roundabout process of cross-chain bridging and can directly use a more compliant USD stablecoin within these ecosystems.

From a technical perspective, using the Wormhole NTT (Native Token Transfer) standard for cross-chain transfers is safer and more efficient than traditional bridging solutions. For Layer 2 ecosystems, RLUSD's addition further enriches the stablecoin options within the ecosystem, providing developers and traders with more liquidity tools. This also reflects the broader trend of stablecoins moving from single-chain to multi-chain ecosystems—whoever controls the liquidity of cross-chain stablecoins will hold more influence in DeFi.

The multi-chain narrative of compliant stablecoins is back, and this time Ripple is finally taking action. --- By the way, how reliable is Wormhole's NTT standard? It feels like every new cross-chain solution claims to be safer than the last, but in the end, we still have to wait for time to test it. --- RLUSD capturing the Layer2 dominance is truly a big strategic move. Whoever controls the liquidity wins... I'm tired of hearing this logic. --- Native deployment sounds good, but I just want to know if there are many users. If only big players and institutions are involved, it doesn't mean much to us ordinary traders. --- Another stablecoin entering the market is actually good for users, as competition can make the ecosystem healthier. --- Is Ripple's move early or late? It feels like it should have been done much earlier.

Haha, Ripple is making a big move again. Is this time to try to take a big bite out of the stablecoin liquidity market? Deploying natively is really impressive; USDC still relies on bridging, but this guy is directly native, and the experience is indeed different. But honestly, who really cares about having one more stablecoin option... It's just Ripple vying for more influence. Multi-chain has become a certainty, and these players are all rushing to land on new territories. Looking forward to seeing how RLUSD performs in terms of liquidity on L2. The cross-chain stablecoin craze, the final winner is not necessarily decided yet.

Direct native deployment, Ripple is really playing a big game now.

Wow, Ripple is causing trouble again. Are they really going to unify the stablecoin ecosystem this time? Direct native deployment, no cross-chain hassle. Sounds pretty good. But I'm worried it might just be on paper and the actual liquidity can't be built up. By the way, whoever truly masters multi-chain stablecoins is the big boss of DeFi. That statement hits the nail on the head. Wait, can Wormhole still be used? After so many issues before, do people still trust it this much? Wait, they're starting to push volume. This big stablecoin battle among major players is about to unfold.

Ripple is playing a big game. The competition for control over stablecoin liquidity is becoming increasingly fierce.

Ripple is playing chess again. Stablecoin liquidity is all about influence, got it.

ntt standard is basically just wormhole's way of saying "we figured out how to not bridge-hack ourselves" lol, but yeah ripple playing the compliance card is smart. actually watching the stablecoin wars play out across l2s is lowkey the realest narrative rn

Ripple is playing chess again, directly deploying compliant stablecoins to various L2s. This move is indeed aggressive. --- The NTT standard looks promising, but could it just be another cross-chain security show? --- Speaking of RLUSD, can it truly become the ceiling for multi-chain stablecoins? That depends on whether users buy into it. --- Having strong compliance is useless; what really matters is liquidity and ecosystem support. Ripple's move depends on how they motivate subsequent development. --- Suddenly thought, if all stablecoins were rolled out like this, what advantage would USDC and USDT have? --- NTT sounds high-end, but whether it works well in practice remains to be seen. --- Alright, I admit Ripple's move was pretty good, but it feels like the start of another arms race.

Finally! The move with RLUSD directly took a position, Ripple is still aggressive in ecosystem development. Multi-chain stablecoins are the future; the era of single-chain is really over. NTT standard is indeed much safer than old bridges, and compliance is also more robust. By the way, has anyone thought that controlling stablecoin liquidity is equivalent to controlling the pulse of DeFi? With both Optimism and Base available, liquidity pools can now become more active. However, USDC is also deploying across multiple chains, so competition will definitely become more intense later. Native deployment is much more convenient than cross-chain bridges, greatly enhancing user experience. Wait, is the Ink and Unichain ecosystem deep enough to really take off? I'm a bit looking forward to the subsequent ecosystem applications, see who can first make RLUSD come alive.
