Sui native decentralized data layer projects have been making frequent moves recently. On one side, they are advancing in the RWA sector—facilitating asset tokenization to connect real estate and precious metals to the blockchain, with over $800 million in real assets already on the ground, forming tangible consumption scenarios. On the other side, the newly released Quilt technical solution is a highlight in the storage track: the cost of small file storage has been directly cut from previous levels to 1/420, such an optimization at this scale is rare.

What’s more practical is the integration plan with Pipe Network, with a 50ms edge transmission latency, meaning a substantial improvement in data access response speed. In the context of the entire Web3 infrastructure, this combination is hard to ignore—developers need efficient storage solutions, and investors building in the RWA track also require underlying support. The parallel development of dual tracks, with technological iteration and ecological application advancing simultaneously, is indeed a trend worth paying attention to.
