Mexico’s national energy commission has denied Sempra’s application for a natural gas marketing permit for its Vista Pacífico LNG project in Sinaloa. The mid-scale export terminal, intended to supply US natural gas to Pacific markets, now faces regulatory hurdles as it aims for a 2029 operational start date.
