Securities Daily Network, March 1 — Ruifeng High-Performance Materials stated during a survey that epoxy resin toughening agents can effectively improve the impact resistance and heat impact performance of epoxy resin materials. The downstream applications mainly include automotive, wind power, PCB boards, packaging materials, insulating materials, and composite materials (carbon fiber/epoxy resin composites, fiberglass/epoxy resin composites). Epoxy resin toughening modification products have high technological content and are difficult to produce. Domestic related products heavily rely on imports from Japan, with powder products priced over 40,000 yuan/ton and liquid products around 80,000 yuan per ton, with high profit margins. In fields such as automotive epoxy encapsulation adhesives, PCB boards, and wind turbine blades, the company is conducting technical exchanges and product validation with some domestic customers, and the product technology and performance have been recognized by clients. Currently, the company is achieving small batch shipments through a pilot production line. Due to capacity constraints, large-scale shipments are not yet possible. The company’s 60,000-ton engineering plastic additive project will include epoxy resin toughening agent capacity, which will be scaled up after completion and commissioning. Epoxy resin toughening modification products are still in the early stages; although small batches are being shipped, the quantities and generated revenue are very limited, and the short-term impact on the company’s operating performance is minimal.
