According to industry research firm LightCounting, a recent report raised its shipment forecasts for 800G and 1.6T optical modules—by 2026, 800G optical module shipments are expected to more than double, and 1.6T optical module shipments will grow from a small base in 2025 to tens of millions of ports. Citic Securities’ research report pointed out that the explosive demand for AI computing power is driving upgrades in the optical communications industry. Overseas cloud providers continue to expand capital support, confirming strong demand for AI infrastructure and resulting in robust demand for high-speed optical modules.
Huaxin Securities previously stated that although the company’s Q4 2025 was affected by exchange losses, its overall annual performance remains on an upward trend. With sufficient material reserves, technological iterations, capacity releases, and customer expansion, performance is expected to continue growing. By 2026, the company expects 800G optical modules to remain the main shipment, and large-scale shipments of 1.6T optical modules are expected in the first quarter, with an upward trend.
