Iran confirms shooting down a U.S. military F-15 fighter jet

CCTV Reporter According to Iranian sources on March 2 local time, an attempted invasion by a U.S. Air Force F-15 fighter jet was intercepted and shot down by Iran’s air defense system. The aircraft crashed in Kuwait after approaching the area.

Earlier that day, a U.S. military aircraft crashed in Kuwait. Turkish authorities reported that the pilot ejected safely. Kuwait and U.S. officials have not yet responded to the incident.
