[Caixin] After raising $300 million, Galaxy General Robots announced on March 2nd that it has completed a new round of financing totaling 2.5 billion yuan. Investors include the National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, Sinopec, CITIC Investment Holdings, Bank of China Asset Management, SAIC Financial Holdings, SMIC Juyuan, Yizhuang State Investment, Kunpeng Fund, Wuxi Venture Capital, Fujian Industry Investment, Chengdu Tech Innovation Capital, and other longstanding shareholders who continued to increase their investments.

Galaxy General states that after this round of financing, the company’s total funding has made it the leading entity in China’s embodied intelligence field and the highest-valued unlisted company in the humanoid robot sector.

Over the past six months, many humanoid robot companies have completed large-scale financing, with even more frequent rounds after the 2026 Spring Festival. Companies such as Qianxun Smart, Xinghai Tu, Zhiji Dynamics, Leju Robots, Xingdong Era, Zhongqing, Galaxy General, Zibianliang, and Zhi Pingfang have each secured around 1 billion yuan in a single round. The valuations of Zibianliang, Xinghai Tu, and Zhi Pingfang are reportedly over 10 billion yuan. Additionally, Leju, Yushu, and Yunshenchu have initiated A-share filings.
