According to Fortune, Visa announced an expansion of its partnership with Stripe's stablecoin infrastructure company Bridge, to launch stablecoin-supported Visa cards in over 100 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Previously, the two companies had launched collaborations in Latin American markets such as Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico, and related card products are now available in 18 countries. These cards allow users to directly use their stablecoin balances from crypto wallets for purchases at Visa merchants, with Bridge issuing branded stablecoin debit cards for wallets or businesses, and Visa providing settlement support as the payment network.
