Nissan Motor Co. announced on the 12th that due to multiple factors such as increased U.S. tariffs, the company expects a net loss of 650 billion yen, approximately 33 billion RMB, for the 2025 fiscal year. This will be the second consecutive year of significant losses for the company. In the 2024 fiscal year, Nissan reported a net loss of 670.9 billion yen, about 34 billion RMB. The financial report also projects that Nissan’s global sales will drop to 3.2 million units in the 2025 fiscal year. Nissan stated that its profits are severely squeezed due to declining global sales, substantial costs from large-scale layoffs, and the impact of U.S. tariff policies. (CCTV)
