According to Yonhap News Agency, the Korea Financial Supervisory Service released data showing that the total number of financial complaints in Korea reached 128.4k in 2025, a 10.4% increase year-on-year, with the average processing time extended to 46.6 days. Notably, complaints related to virtual assets have rapidly increased after the category was established, rising by 4,088 cases compared to the previous six months, a year-on-year surge of 1014.4%, mainly involving issues such as unissued exchange API activity rewards.
