I just got a little itchy again and almost bought in… I paused for two minutes and asked myself: Did I see some new information, or am I just afraid of missing out and getting excited? Honestly, most of the time it’s the latter. I also watch on-chain data every day, but there aren’t that many signals that can truly change my judgment; more often, it’s just emotions looking for reasons.
Recently, the staking unlocks and token unlock calendar have been repeatedly brought up, with the group saying one moment “it’s going to crash” and the next “all expectations are already priced in,” and the selling pressure anxiety keeps looping. My approach is a bit simpler: treat unlocks as signposts, not as steering wheels. If I can write rules in advance like “don’t add to positions before this date / only do partial sales,” I won’t get carried away in the moment.
I no longer believe that “the market will follow the storyline everyone knows.” For now, that’s it—no more chasing tonight.
