That was a bit scary just now... The chain was too congested, and my swap got stuck in the mempool waiting in line, which made me lose patience. To put it simply, sending out a transaction doesn't mean it's executed; it just puts your intent into the "waiting room." Miners/ordering services see who offers the higher fee or better route, and may prioritize others first, leaving you hanging. What's more frustrating is that by the time you're in line, the price has already moved, and those MEV bots will circle around you, and a slight slippage can feel like you've been casually robbed.

Recently, with new L1/L2 projects offering incentives to attract TVL, everyone complains about "mining, extracting, selling," and I can understand: during congestion, the first to be pushed out are usually regular users doing normal transactions... Anyway, when it's congested, I'd rather wait a bit longer or simply cancel and resend, instead of forcing through. Even if I lose some, I don't want to lose too unfairly.
