Paul Sztorc Plans August Launch of Bitcoin Hard Fork eCash
Paul Sztorc said he plans to launch a Bitcoin hard fork called eCash in August, with Bitcoin holders set to receive an equal amount of the new coin. Sztorc said the eCash Layer 1 node is nearly a copy of Bitcoin Core and will use the SHA-256d algorithm.
