Recently, I truly experienced the concept of loss aversion: a slight unrealized loss makes me start a meeting in my mind, while the same magnitude of unrealized profit doesn't excite me as much, and before bed I can't help but take a few more looks at the chain. Even more ridiculous, when I see large transfers or movements of exchange hot and cold wallets, the comment section begins to interpret "smart money is coming / leaving," and I also get caught up in the rhythm, even though I know rationally that it might just be internal rebalancing.

Basically, it's like having a piece of cake in the fridge: eating it might not be remembered for long, but if I find a bite missing (and I don't even know who stole it), I can think about it all night. Anyway, I now try to separate voting from holding positions; if the incentive design in a proposal is wrong, I will vote against it, but I pay less attention to price fluctuations... otherwise, it really affects my sleep.
