Japan to Release 5.8 Million Kiloliters of National Oil Reserves Due to Iran Crisis

On April 24, Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry announced that due to the Iran crisis, Japan will release 5.8 million kiloliters of its national oil reserves, starting from May 1.
