Iranian Foreign Minister Calls for the Establishment of a "US-Intervention-Free" Collective Security Mechanism

Golden Finance News reported that on April 26, according to Iran’s Fars News Agency, Iran’s Foreign Minister Aragchi called on regional countries to establish a collective security mechanism “free from U.S. intervention.” The report said that on that day, during a meeting with Oman’s Sultan Haitham in the Omani capital of Muscat, Aragchi stated that Iran’s experience shows that the United States’ military presence in regional countries would only lead to turmoil and division in the region. He called on regional countries to jointly build an independent collective security mechanism without U.S. intervention. (Xinhua)
