After several days of sideways consolidation, Bitcoin/Ethereum saw a small upward push in the evening. However, the overall rally is not large, and resistance overhead still remains—especially for Bitcoin, where the rise is not particularly obvious. The daily and 8-hour Bollinger Bands have also started to contract, and the overhead pressure is clear. This rally also provides an opportunity to enter short positions. At the moment, the short-term rise is driven more by sentiment and news stimuli, but there is no real positive catalyst. This kind of stimulus will also fade as sentiment cools, and tonight we mainly expect a push higher followed by a pullback.
Evening Trading Recommendations: Short Bitcoin around 78000 to 78500; target 75500 to 76500. Short Ethereum around 2345 to 2360; target 2240 to 2280.
