Objective
This guide will walk you through how to claim a password red envelope on the Gate App.
Steps
Step 1: Access the Red Envelope Feature Page

Open and log in to the Gate App

Tap the profile avatar icon in the upper left corner

In the pop-up menu, select [Red Envelope]
Step 2: Choose a Claim Method and Complete the Process
After entering the red envelope page, you can claim a red envelope in one of two ways:
Method 1: Scan to Claim

Tap the scan feature

Place the red envelope QR code within the scan frame

The system will automatically recognize and complete the claim
Method 2: Password Claim

Enter the red envelope password (text code) in the input box

Tap the [Grab] button to claim

Each verified user can only claim the same red envelope once

Currently, the password red envelope feature is only supported on the App. The Web version is not supported at this time

Please make sure to claim the red envelope within its validity period. Expired red envelopes cannot be claimed

Q2: Which account will the claimed red envelope be credited to?
A: The claimed red envelope amount will be automatically credited to your Gate spot account. You can view it under [Assets].
Q3: Where can I get the red envelope password?
A: The red envelope password is usually shared by the sender via social media, messages, etc. You can also claim directly by scanning the red envelope QR code—no need to manually enter the password.
