As the litigation process between Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) continues, the SEC's assessments of whether XRP is a security or a commodity are generating a lot of interest. According to Fox News, the SEC is discussing the possibility of XRP gaining commodity status in a similar way to ETH.
