They say it takes three years to enter the industry, five years to understand it, and ten years to become a king.
Looking back at my previous moments, this September marks my tenth year in this industry.
Looking back on these more than nine years of experience, it feels a bit ironic, with the fear of gain and loss, ups and downs. I have had the ability to multiply my principal by dozens of times countless times, but the only thing I lack is the ability to preserve both the principal and the profits.
Leverage goes from 100x to 50x, then to 20x, and finally to 5x, and even at the lowest leverage of 3x, positions can be flipped several times in a short period. Ultimately, all can end up in extreme market conditions, where altcoins can plummet nearly 90%, and Ethereum can retrace over 70%, constantly refreshing the heights of understanding.
The previous methods are no longer effective, so I chose to take a few months to settle down. One way is to accumulate a slightly larger amount of funds through labor and enter a cooling-off period. There is no need to trade without the right mindset and without finding a trading system suitable for the current market conditions. Each recharge is consuming the principal accumulation, so it’s better to return when I am more mature.
I hope everyone can empathize; the market is always there. If you experience continuous losses, it's unnecessary to rush into the market every month when your mindset is not right. Take your time to settle down, recover slowly, and choose to come back when there is not much pressure.
My plan will not change. A part-time job takes a little more time, saving 5000-8000 a month for now, plus I am also going back to the institution to relearn and reshape a trading system. Everything cannot be rushed.
A few days ago, a very skilled trader showed me a quantitative system and asked me to find vulnerabilities. I feel it is quite stable, and I can't find any flaws in the strategies he analyzed. However, it needs practice to know for sure. The key is that I don't want to enter the market right now, I don't want to deposit, I want to stick to my plan, sell at gt, see how much I can sell, and then run it in the contract according to his strategy for two or three months to see the returns. Because mainly I don't need to watch the market closely, his strategy has a very low liquidation point, mainly relying on specified positions to trade back and forth. This way, it won't interfere with my work and studies. If I can really achieve results, I might wait a few months to see if there is anything I can optimize in his strategy before coming back.
First, sell some gt, practice his strategy for a month or two before discussing further. Then, work to earn money and accumulate capital, learn, deepen your knowledge, reflect, enhance the patience that has always been lacking, and suppress the impatience.
I entered the crypto world in my twenties, and in the blink of an eye, I'm thirty now. It's time to settle down #Gate 荣获 “2025 年度最佳加密货币交易所”大奖 .
