Seeing the news of Justin Sun coming back from space really makes me feel a bit emotional. He said that from up there, the Earth looks as small as a glass bead — but it is this "glass bead" that holds all our ambitions, conflicts, and collaborations.
While humanity fights desperately for territory and resources, it can also come together to send people to the sky; this contradiction is particularly wonderful.
Back on the ground, another kind of "unity" is happening.
In fact, there's no need to fly that far; there has long been a group of people on Earth collaborating in strange ways—such as teaching AI to recognize cats and dogs, judging emotions, and even helping algorithms understand "humor."
This task sounds simple, but think about it, if thousands of people didn't contribute their judgment, AI probably still wouldn't be able to distinguish between a corgi and toast (after all, they are both yellow).
When human judgment becomes tradable "interstellar fuel"
Here we have to mention Sapien—it’s like a factory that packages human brainpower into "data cans." You stake tokens to perform tasks (like tagging images), and if you do well, you can earn more; if you mess up, you will lose money.
The most interesting part is that it uses gamified design to turn tedious data labeling into "leveling up and fighting monsters," while also accumulating on-chain reputation.
We are all "leaving the surface of the Earth" in our own way.
Justin Sun broke the Karman line with a rocket, while the contributors of Sapien broke the cognitive boundaries of AI with collective intelligence. Perhaps one day in the future, when AI finally understands cold jokes, we should thank not the code, but the countless ordinary people behind it who seriously labeled "Is this funny or not?" After all, a sense of humor may be humanity's last stronghold.
Ending
Justin Sun's dream of space is humanity's romance, while @JoinSapien's data collaboration is the pragmatism of the AI era - we are always exploring further boundaries in our own way.
