PANews September 12 news, according to Bloomberg, OpenAI is close to reaching an agreement with its largest shareholder Microsoft, planning to transform its existing nonprofit organization into a new public benefit corporation, with the nonprofit set to receive at least $100 billion in equity, accounting for approximately 20% of the company's valuation. Both parties have signed a memorandum of understanding, and Microsoft has agreed to continue deep cooperation. This restructuring still requires approval from the attorneys general of California and Delaware and faces a lawsuit challenge from Elon Musk.
