3 pitfalls, 2 dead ends, 1 awakening, my trading growth story at Gate is not as smooth as you might think.

The first time I encountered Gate, I never thought I would go through the entire process of "from a novice to being able to survive" here. Starting with three truths: I have lost money, panicked, and even considered deleting the app directly; but every pitfall ultimately became my most precious growth footprint. Looking back, the speed at which I grew at Gate was much faster than I had imagined.
My earliest liquidation happened on Gate. At that time, I was recklessly using high leverage, and as a result, the market took me out in one swift move. At that moment, I realized: trading is not about passion, it’s about discipline. Later, I began to seriously study the functions—limit orders, OCO, take profit and stop loss, copy trading, contract protection parameters—slowly exploring and understanding them on Gate. The more I learned, the more I realized: technology is never enough; emotions are the biggest opponent.
What truly changed me was when I started using Gate's data and transparency page. Reserves, on-chain verification, compliance reports—these were things I never looked at before, but now they have become my core basis for assessing platform risk. As I continued using it, I increasingly understood that trading is not just about making money, but about understanding how the financial system operates.
I will no longer rush in without thinking, nor will I blindly follow the trend. I have started to develop my own strategies and set my own boundaries, and sometimes I am even more stable than some community KOLs. Growth has never been an overnight success, but rather a process of being "corrected by the market" time and again.
