12.16 Bitcoin Market Analysis Reference: The Bitcoin price has retested as expected, continuing to decline, with bearish sentiment gradually strengthening, and intraday trends facing pressure to decline again. The short-term downside space has reopened, with prices repeatedly pulling back in the evening, and bearish sentiment gradually intensifying. The downward trend is still ongoing, with lows approaching the 85,000 level, but no breakdown has occurred. Caution is advised against a potential breakdown below 85,000; on the daily chart, after three consecutive bearish candles and accelerated decline, yesterday's large bearish candle broke through the 88,000 support level, testing a low of 85,073 before closing at 85,576, indicating that although bears dominate the market, there is clear support below. On the 4-hour chart, there are consecutive bearish candles, with the latest candlestick dipping to the 85,000 mark and then rebounding, forming a long lower shadow. The previous high of 87,189 has become a key resistance level.
From a technical perspective, on the 4-hour chart, the MACD's DIF and DEA lines continue to diverge below the zero line, with the histogram expanding to -755, indicating increasing bearish momentum; on the daily chart, after a death cross, the fast and slow lines are also widening. Regarding moving averages, the price has broken below all EMA lines (7/30/120). The 4-hour EMA7 (87,477) and EMA30 (89,423) form a standard bearish alignment, with the current price still about 2,000 points above EMA7.
Operational suggestions mainly focus on rebounds for short positions. Resistance is near 89,200. Watch for a breakdown below 85,000. Short-term trading ideas for 12.16 Bitcoin: short at 89,300-90,300 with a stop at 92,500, target below 88,500; for long positions, entry at 82,300-83,300 with a stop at 81,500, target above 85,500.
12.16 Ethereum short-term strategy reference: light short at 3,095-3,145 with a 30-point stop, target below 3,000; long at 2,881-2,831 with a 30-point stop, target above 2,980.
