The community is liquidity, there's no doubt about that. I've seen too many projects die at the nobody cares stage, really.

To put it simply, the community is like a leek field, but it has to be a self-irrigating leek field. The projects I went all-in on back then, no matter how talented the development team was, the community was lacking, and now they have all become lonely wastelands... Liquidity, at its core, relies on popularity to sustain itself. Without true believers holding the tokens, even the best protocols are just empty talk, and you'll miss the opportunity when you turn around.
