Everyone says they want the execution speed of centralized exchanges, but the real situation in DeFi is like this: delays often exceed one second, MEV frontrunning causes network congestion to the point of chaos, and transaction fees depend entirely on luck. Then users leave, acting surprised. This is the core dilemma currently facing DeFi. Some projects are addressing this issue not by improving UI or storytelling, but by genuinely enhancing execution quality itself—from the underlying architecture to overall transaction process optimization. This is the key to retaining users.

The trap of Centralized Exchange cannot be replicated at all, and MEV is the original sin of Decentralized Finance.

MEV is really incredible; I'm always exploited to the fullest, and I have to console myself by saying this is the price of decentralization haha

A one-second delay can really discourage a lot of people; the MEV gameplay has long needed to be addressed.

These days, anyone still hyping DeFi speed hasn't actually experienced it. A delay of just over a second is nothing. What's truly disgusting is those bots front-running, and the fees are so high they make you want to vomit.

Ha, here we go again with the old DeFi tune—slow, expensive, and you still have to compete with bots for order matching.

Haha, just over one second delay? I might as well be sniped to bankruptcy.

Laughing out loud, DeFi is just a "speed race" disguised as decentralization, and in the end, it all loses to the old trick of Gas fees.
