# LG Unveils Home Assistant Robot

LG Electronics has introduced a next-generation home robot equipped with artificial intelligence — LG CLOiD. This was reported by The Korea Times.

The device can perform household chores, control home appliances, and interact naturally with residents by understanding their daily routines and environment.

The debut of LG CLOiD aligns with the company’s long-term goal of creating a “home without routine work, where people spend time together.”

In one demonstration, the robot prepares breakfast for a resident who is rushing to work. Based on a pre-set algorithm, the bot retrieves milk from the refrigerator, puts croissants in the oven, and gathers necessary items like keys. After the person leaves, LG CLOiD continues to perform household tasks.

The robot is designed with a humanoid form to optimize processes. Its body consists of a head and two arms, and it moves on wheels. LG CLOiD can adjust its height from 105 cm to 143 cm, and its limbs, about 87 cm long, allow it to reach various objects.

LG CLOiD loads dishes into the dishwasher. Source: The Korea Times. The robot’s head functions as the control center for a “smart home” based on artificial intelligence on the LG Q9 platform. It contains a chipset, display, speakers, cameras, sensors, and a voice-generative AI.

“Our goal is to create a home where robots and AI-powered appliances take over household duties, allowing people to relax, enjoy life, and focus on what truly matters,” said LG representatives.

Recall that in December 2025, six humanoid robots G1 from Unitree Robotics performed as dance doubles at a concert and executed a synchronized forward somersault.
