With the support of Europol, French prosecutors conducted a raid on X company's headquarters in Paris to investigate the platform's alleged dissemination of child abuse images, AI-generated deepfake videos, and Holocaust denial content. The prosecutors have summoned Elon Musk and former CEO Linda Yaccarino for questioning. Previously, X company's AI chatbot Grok was exposed for generating Holocaust denial content and explicit deepfake videos, leading to an expanded investigation. X company condemned the raid as politically motivated, while Telegram founder Pavel Durov criticized the French authorities. The EU had previously fined X company 120 million euros for violating digital regulation rules.
