Many technologies are initially attributed to a specific company at their inception. People tend to think of them as a service rather than a public capability.


For a long time, I also assumed that AI belonged to the company, not to the users who utilize it.
You can call on it, build products based on it, but you can't truly participate in its operation, let alone influence how it exists.
The training, deployment, and inference capabilities of models are always encapsulated behind the company's servers and APIs.
Developers have the right to use, but not to participate. This relationship has long been taken for granted, just like we use electricity every day without ever thinking about the power plant itself.
Until I started to delve into @dgrid_ai, this ingrained perception first began to loosen.
What $DGAI is trying to do is not to create a more powerful model, but to transform inference capabilities from a company asset into a network resource. Computing power is no longer concentrated in a single entity but is provided collectively by distributed nodes.
Models are no longer just black boxes to be called upon but are execution units running on an open network.
Users call on them as needed, nodes provide computing power, models participate in execution—each role becomes part of the system's operation.
The significance of this structural change is not just a technical architecture adjustment but a reconstruction of participation relationships.
AI is no longer just a passive tool providing services but begins to evolve into a network that can be jointly maintained and built. Participants are no longer just consumers but also contributors.
When inference becomes a network activity, the flow of value also changes accordingly.
Those contributing computing power receive rewards, resource users pay real costs, and the system itself continuously optimizes through competition.
If this model truly matures, the future ownership of AI will no longer be concentrated in a few companies but will gradually spread across the network. Ownership no longer means closed control but open collaboration.
This change won't happen overnight, but it has already allowed us to see another possibility for the first time.
