Liquidity is being added… just not in the way most people are watching.


The Treasury just completed a $15B debt repurchase, the largest on record, surpassing last week’s $14.7B.
Why this matters:
Buybacks funnel cash into the financial system, ease pressure on bank balance sheets, and tighten credit spreads.
It’s not technically QE from the Fed…
But functionally, it moves markets the same way.
