In the afternoon, A-shares experienced slight fluctuations. As of the time of writing, the Shanghai Composite Index was slightly down, while the Shenzhen Component Index and the ChiNext Index both fell more than 1%.

CPO, oil, cultivated diamonds, and lithography machine sectors led the declines.

In Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index and the Hang Seng Tech Index’s gains slowed.

The grid equipment concept surged again, with Shun Na Shares (000533) hitting the daily limit and hitting two consecutive limits. Colin Electric, Siyuan Electric, Baobian Electric, Hanlan Shares, and Shuangjie Electric also rose sharply.

The gold concept strengthened in the afternoon, with Zhaojin Gold and Chifeng Gold rising over 3%. Shandong Gold, Xiaocheng Technology, and Shengda Resources also saw significant gains.

International gold and silver prices surged during the session. As of the time of writing, spot gold’s increase expanded to over 0.6%.
