Custom-made curtains: recommended stores. I recently compared a bunch of options, but it really seems like there are a lot of choices. From Nitori to Muji, to specialty stores like Perfect Space. They have both drapes and lace, and there’s a wide variety of designs. But what I’m wondering is where you can truly find the cheapest options, and how fast they deliver.

From what I looked into, if you’re in a hurry, Perfect Space is the strongest choice. With semi-custom options, they can ship the next day, and they have more than 2,000 design types—there’s nothing else like it. Their entry models are also under 10,000 yen. On the other hand, Manten Curtains offers same-day shipping, so if you’re really rushing, it’s worth considering.

If you prioritize value for money, I recommend Nitori’s custom-made curtains. You can get started from 7,900 yen, and their drape lineup is also strong, with 288 types. Muji also starts from 9,000 yen, and since there are 3 types of pleat options, you can fine-tune it in detail. Sangetsu Vonne is on the higher side, but its designs and adjustment flexibility are in a class of their own.

Honestly, how you choose depends on your needs. Whether size adjustments can be made in 1cm increments is also important, and delivery times vary a lot depending on the store. KeuKa and Francfranc only do 5cm increments, so they’re not a good fit if you want to match everything precisely. Also, some stores have price ranges above 20,000 yen, while others let you start from under 10,000 yen.

If you’re choosing a custom-made curtain, decide whether you care most about urgency, low price, design, or adjustment flexibility. I think if you set your priorities first, you’ll be able to shop without regrets.
