Recently, I've been earning points on testnets again.

It was pretty easy at first as practice, but once I started calculating in my mind, "How much could this airdrop be worth if I get it?"...
People tend to get carried away, and I become greedier, running a few more tasks every day.
Honestly, once practice turns into expectations, you need to set stop-losses for yourself, or else you're not wasting gas, but time and emotions.

My current stop-loss is pretty simple:
Set a "maximum number of nights" for each chain/project, for example, if after three nights there's no progress and the rules keep changing in more mysterious ways, I just stop pursuing it;
Add another rule: if I find myself doing obviously unprofitable things just for points (frequently switching accounts, forcing interactions), that also triggers the stop-loss.
Seeing the incentives to boost TVL on new L1/L2s has been overwhelming, and in the end, veteran users complaining about "mining, selling" isn't without reason—don't treat practice as a paycheck.

Tonight, I’ll finish the two tasks I have and then shut down; tomorrow, I’ll only keep one testnet that I find most smooth to follow, for now, that’s it.
