92 of 100 hottest cities are from India. 🇮🇳

We are not victims of “global warming” alone. We are victims of our own policy failures.
• No serious enforcement of green building codes
• Zero push for passive cooling, cool roofs, or widespread tree cover in new developments
• Electricity infrastructure still stuck like 90s while AC demand explodes
• Corruption and delays in disaster preparedness funds (seen it in every state during every crisis)
The truth is India needs to solve this like we solved telecom and UPI, at scale, with speed, and with private execution.
Solar powered district cooling. Smart grids that don’t collapse. Heat resistant materials. R&D in affordable cooling tech. Pro good laws that force cities to plant trees and ban heat trapping designs instead of more photo ops.
Climate is changing. India’s population and urbanization are exploding.
Pretending this is just “weather” while doing the same old shit is criminal negligence.
The same execution muscle that built airports and highways needs to be applied to heat resilience.
Or watch productivity, health, and lives get torched every summer from now on.
Build better infrastructure. Demand better governance.
Or keep sweating while the rest of the world adapts.
