Recently, there have been reports that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may make a 180-degree turn on the Ethereum ETF application. Alex Thorn, the Head of Research at Galaxy Digital, stated on X platform that if the SEC is indeed going to change their stance on the Ethereum ETF, they may find a balance between two viewpoints: either the SEC recognizes that ETH itself is not a security, or they recognize that staked ETH is a security.
