Gold is currently in an oversold correction phase following a sharp pullback. In the short term, it faces a game between the rebound resistance level of 4850-4860 yuan and strong support at 4800-4810 yuan, showing an overall pattern of low-level consolidation.
Operationally, it is recommended to first observe the strength of the rebound. If the price stabilizes around 4820, consider taking a light position to scalp the short-term rebound to 4850. If the rebound is blocked, reverse to go short with strict stop-loss orders. Avoid blindly chasing shorts at the current oversold level.
