The True Cost of War

During World War II, the global death toll was over 70 million.
But even more terrifying is that psychological trauma has affected generations. On the day the war ended, the trauma did not end.
The Longest War
The Netherlands and the United Kingdom once "fought" for 335 years. From 1651 to 1986, they only signed a peace treaty officially. The key point is—no shots were fired during this period. Sometimes, war is just a "legal state," and the real sufferers are always ordinary people.
The Shortest War
The Anglo-Zanzibar War of 1896 lasted only 38 minutes between Britain and Zanzibar. Less than a TV episode, and a regime change occurred in a flash.
The gap between strength and weakness can sometimes be so brutal that there’s no suspense.
Wishing for world peace!!!
