📈 Matter Labs, the developer of ZKsync Layer 2 Ethereum, announced that its Lite network will shut down on May 4, with all resources being fully focused on the ZKsync Era ecosystem.
➡ Users are advised to transfer their assets to the main Ethereum layer or to Era.
According to RootData, at the time of the announcement, approximately $34 million was staked on Lite, including $24.9 million in stablecoins and $8.4 million in ETH and equivalents, along with small amounts in other assets.
