When I was conducting research in the county town, I found that many older/second-marriage male employees of county-level public institutions (service positions, not officials, the kind who are timid in front of deputy section chiefs—low-level county town older/second-marriage Kshatriyas) married women who returned to their hometowns as technicians.

The wages of low-level Kshatriyas are not very high, but they have many acquaintances and find it easy to handle affairs.
The women usually bring along dowries such as clothing stores, beauty salons, nail salons, printing shops, etc., and also need low-level county town Kshatriyas to help navigate social circles and provide connections and protection.
Senior section-level leaders, in front of me, complain about someone who married a mistress.
But when it comes to dining and entertainment, they often go to that former mistress’s shop to support her business.
