Mars Finance News: According to CCTV News, on March 2 local time, Amazon Web Services announced that three of its data centers in the Middle East were attacked by drones, causing serious service disruptions. In a statement posted on its official website, the company said two of the attacks directly hit data centers in the UAE, while a facility in Bahrain was affected by a nearby drone explosion. The company did not specify who was responsible for the attacks. The statement read, “These attacks caused structural damage, affecting the power supply to our infrastructure, and in some cases triggered fire suppression systems, leading to additional water damage. We are working closely with local authorities and prioritizing employee safety during the recovery process.” The company stated that the damage has impacted multiple Amazon services, and given the extent of physical destruction, recovery may take “a long time.”
