According to monitoring, as of the end of February, Guangxi had only one sugar factory operating, a significant decrease compared to the previous year. It is estimated that the sugar production in Guangxi for February will be between 1.6 million and 1.8 million tons, higher than 1.35 million tons in the same period last year, reaching the highest level in nearly ten crushing seasons. All sugar factories in Yunnan have started crushing in February, with no factories currently idle. Due to increased sugarcane production, February sugar output is expected to reach 580,000 tons, up from 560,000 tons in the same period last year.
